WRITING WORKSHOP! On October 30 I will be leading a writing workshop (twice) at the LITERARY BIT OF REFLECTION hosted by the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council in Oxford, Mississippi. My workshop will be offered twice: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. WHAT IF? My workshop, titled, "WHAT IF?" will focus on how to use elements from real life--yours or others--to inform your fiction. "WHAT IF?" This writing workshop will explore the use of real life experiences to inform your fiction writing. Author Susan Cushman will use examples in all three of her fiction books: JOHN AND MARY MARGARET (novel), FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY (short stories), and CHERRY BOMB (novel).
