Susan will be giving a slide presentation at the Brooks Museum League meeting, October 7, 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Brooks Museum of Art. Susan’s presentation, “Icons: Windows to Heaven,” features 40 slides illustrating the history of icons in art and religion, the meaning of colors used, and the steps in painting icons with egg tempera and gold leaf.
