Pilgrim Interrupted at Calvary Episcopal Church in Memphis

I’ve been invited to speak on October 1 at Calvary Episcopal Church’s Adult Formation Class, from 9:15-10:15 a.m.
The theme is spiritual journeys, and they’ve asked me share the story of my “religious wanderings and conversion,” much of which I wrote about in my 2022 spiritual memoir PILGRIM INTERRUPTED. (Notice Pilgrim Interrupted included in the picture of some of Calvary’s chosen books-of-the-month and other programs.) I love that my presentation is part of a group they call “PILGRIM PEOPLE.” The Fall Chronicle, Calvary’s newsletter, describes this series of events like this:
There are lots of ways to go on pilgrimage, some require plane flights and some can happen in your own home. Over several weeks, Calvary clergy and guests will tell stories and open conversations about faithful journeys.
